Presentation Information
Authors are expected to present their papers at the conference.
Registration receipts and proceedings will be available (at the conference) only
for papers that are presented -- unless prior exceptions are made by the organizing
conference committee.
Authors should plan on 20-minute presentations.
We will provide computer projectors for displaying PowerPoint or similar presentations.
Authors must provide their own laptops for the presentations.
Visa Information: Those authors who require a Visa for travel
purposes should please contact our General Vice Chair Prof. Maggie Cheng
(chengm@umr.edu), for help in getting
the VISA support letter.
Registering to Attend the Conference
At least one author per paper must pay the non-student
registration fee by February 20, 2007.
Registration is required for the publication of your paper;
failure to register will result in your paper being
removed from the proceedings.
Note that one full (non-student) registration fee
must be paid for each paper published in the proceedings.
ONLINE
REGISTRATION is now available.
Manuscript Preparation
The final manuscript must be in IEEE conference style.
Templates can be found at www.computer.org/portal/site/cscps.
Look under the Information for Authors link for formatting instructions which include templates.
Page Limits for Regular Papers
Each regular paper may have up to 8 pages without extra charge, and may have up
to two extra pages at $100 per extra page.
The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings if its length exceeds 10 pages.
The extra page charges must be submitted with your camera-ready manuscript.
Page Limits for Workshop Papers
Each workshop paper may have up to 8 pages.
The paper will not be included in the conference proceedings if its length exceeds 8 pages.
Manuscript Submission Checklist
Please group all
your submission materials together (using zip or similar tools). The submission
procedure applies to both conference and workshop papers.
- The
IEEE Copyright form is available as a PDF
and more information at http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/rights/cfrmlink.html.
Please send the form to (512) 532-6471, attention Jack.
- Registration
fee for your paper. Make checks payable to IPCCC 2007. This can be either
done online or via mail.
- Payment
for extra page charges (if needed). Make checks payable to IPCCC 2007.
- Abstract
submission: Email the abstract of your paper in plain text format to weizhao@google.com. Please use ipccc123_abstract.txt
as your file name, where 123 is your EDAS paper number
- Email
the PDF file of your paper to weizhao@google.com.
Please use ipccc123.pdf as your file name, where 123 is your EDAS paper
number
- To
prepare the final version: Please make sure that you follow the IEEE
requirements for creating PDF files for IEEE Xplore.
Failing to do so may result in your paper not included in the
conference proceedings. If you are using LaTeX to prepare your paper, check out Latex
directions for submission of the final manuscript: INSTRUCTIONS zip file.
- To
check IEEE Xplore compliancy: You must use IEEE
PDF eXpress to check for PDF compliancy. You
can upload source files to generate PDF files, or PDF files for checking.
You can find more information on how to use IEEE PDF eXpress
at
http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/frhelpnologin.asp.
Notice that the IEEE PDF eXpress is only used
to check the PDF format. You should send your final submission to the
publication chair via the email provided.
The final manuscript is due on
February 20. Papers must be IEEE Xplore compliant.
